In the multidisciplinary work ”Monuments of Memories” attention is given to Ingrid – a woman who made scrapbooks during her entire life, leaving behind no less than 84 of them. The books are a clear display of one persons taste, political view and love for her land and region. All her bright memories are present when I with my camera approach the dusty furniture and chipped paint in the now abandoned house where she spent her summers as a child. Our stories collide to an emotional meeting where I seek the traces from a time now passed. In the installation ”Ingrid, Irma, Gunilla” the sound of a single heart beats in a room filled with rugs made by these women.
